Client liaison and social media
In April 2014, Robyn took over the reins as head of webxtra. Robyn manages the day-to-day administration and client liaison. Cutting out the jargon and 'tech speak,' Robyn takes the time to talk to our clients and interpret their creative requirements.
Robyn is also our social media specialist, designing and implementing manageable social media strategies geared specifically towards each client's goals and target markets.
Designer and client liaison
Ben launched webxtra 19 years ago (saying last Century makes us sound far too old!), building up a client base that includes many well known equestrian brands and several high profile individuals. A lot has changed in the last 17 years, but many of our clients have remained loyal throughout, reassured by our pedigree and dependable service, knowing webxtra will be able to cater for their needs as their business grows and develops.
When the business first started, Ben was the designer and web developer, combining a balanced mix of equestrian knowledge, website expertise and creative flair. Ben now leaves the creative and technical side of things to the rest of the team while he oversees all projects, ensuring everything stays on track.
Web and graphic design
Ant has worked across a broad spectrum of design disciplines for enough years for him to stop counting! From marketing to merchandising, packaging to promotion, advertising to illustration and everything in between. Before turning freelance he designed for a diverse range of national and international clients including celebrity chefs, premiership football clubs and some of the worlds largest cruise ships.
Photographer and videographer
Athough Matt's not directly related to Ben or Robyn he is a valued member of the webxtra family. A professional photographer for 19 years, Matthew specialises in the outdoor market where he adapts easily to ever-changing conditions. He brings a wide range of skills to situations where there is often only one chance to get the shot.
Matt works for many leading national magazines including Your Horse (the UK’s biggest-selling monthly equestrian title), Trout & Salmon, Country Walking and Trail. A typical week might see him photographing top-level riders at Badminton, salmon fishing on the Tweed, mountain biking in Spain or product shots in a studio.
Andrea brings 20 years of media industry experience to webxtra. Now freelance, she is a regular feature writer for Horse & Hound, Your Horse and Horse.

During her four years as editor of Horse & Pony, the title won the PPA ‘Editorial Campaign of the Year’ award and claimed EMAP’s ‘Spin-off Title of the Year’ award for a series of lucrative special issues. She was then a national charity press officer before handling international communications for Thorowgood and Prolite. Alongside high-impact web and advertorial copy, Andrea has produced travel writing for publications including Cornwall Today, Silver, La Luz, Holiday Villas, Pfërdeborse and the Western Morning.
